This film has a way of making you angry as well as keeping you entertained. Most movies that i’ve watched, that make me as angry as this one did, distract me and loose my attention. This film has an excellent insight into the justice system that inforces most States in America. It shows the “bad cops” and most of the types of organized crime they are a part of.
Another thing that this film did a good job with (as many others have done) was making you almost pity someone that you should normally dislike. The character of Perry (Kurt Russell)is a selfish, murdering alcoholic, but by the end of the film you can’t help but want to help him. As well as all this it also shows the riots from the Rodney King beating, which is nice to see recognized. It was a sad and messed up unfortunate situation, and the fact that the cops got off not-guilty just shows how messed up most of the USA legal systems are.

I waited so long to see this movie, and although i did learn quite a bit from it i still didnt like it all that much. Everything in it was kinda of just a “meh” thing. I mean the story behind all of what happened was incredible, and obviously that part of the movie was excellent. But the acting, meh….Im not really a fan of the Kurt Russell ness and he was a complete ass throughout the whole film. Other than that i have nothing else to say about this movie…its not a movie i would recommend and its not a movie i wouldnt recommend.
